How did you get started in cosplay?
My mom is the one who sparked my interest in costumes. She made me lots of outfits as I grew up, for any excuse that I could find to wear one. Then my friend Emily introduced me to the world of conventions and I learned that cosplay was a thing; soon after that my list of costumes grew to be rather long, so I started sewing too.

What is your favorite part of the process?
When the costume is done, all the pieces are finally together, and you walk into the convention wearing it for the first time. It's such a relief that it's ready to go and so exciting to be out in the world with it! It gets even better when you run into other people from the same fandom and you get to geek out together.
What is your favorite costume to date?
Can I cheat and have two? I love my Once Upon a Time Belle ballgown because I learned a lot from the creative challenges making it (that and I have a real soft spot for large quantities of fabric). I also love my Anna outfit because it represents the first big project that Mum and I tackled together. That means a lot to me.
What is your dream cosplay?
So many dream cosplays...Christine Daae's white "Think of Me" gown from the movie musical version of the Phantom of the Opera, that gorgeous giant blue construction of amazing from the live action Cinderella...and pretty much everything from Once Upon a Time.
Where do you see yourself in the future when it comes to cosplay?
I'd love to reach master status! I find the amazing things that master level costumers do incredibly inspiring and I'd love to have that kind of knowledge and skills someday.
So we here at Xgeek notice that every time we meet, you seem to emulate a real life life princess. Is that something you practice for, or is that just your general sweet demeanor?
Aww, gosh, thank you! Umm...I don't know, I guess maybe I've been cosplaying too many princesses? But then again, I'm rather of the opinion that one can never have too many princesses...but thank you!
